In addition to showing you the pictures we've taken along with a quick recap of our day, this blog serves the purpose of letting you know we're alive, enabling us to enjoy the trip without phone calls the way the pioneers did.
If we do call, it will be a brief update and to reassure you that a literate grizzly bear has not eaten us and decided to assume our identity and post to this blog (thanks Oprah for making me aware that there will be wild bears in some of the parks we visit :-/).
We will have plenty of time upon our return to answer any questions about the trip, so please don't ask for hotel recs or a recap of the past 12 hours of our day when we're on the phone.
